In the remembrance of God, the filth of the mind is removed. ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥ अम्रित नामु रिद माहि समाइ ॥ Amriṯ nām riḏ māhi samā▫e. The Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, is absorbed into the heart. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਬਸਹਿ ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਰਸਨਾ ॥ प्रभ जी बसहि साध की रसना ॥ Parabẖ jī basėh sāḏẖ kī rasnā. God abides upon the tongues of His Saints.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਸੁਝੈ ॥ प्रभ कै सिमरनि सभु किछु सुझै ॥ Parabẖ kai simran sabẖ kicẖẖ sujẖai. In the remembrance of God, all things are known. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਮ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਾ ॥ प्रभ कै सिमरनि नाही जम त्रासा ॥ Parabẖ kai simran nāhī jam ṯarāsā. In the remembrance of God, there is no fear of death. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਆਸਾ ॥ प्रभ कै सिमरनि पूरन आसा ॥ Parabẖ kai simran pūran āsā. In the remembrance of God, hopes are fulfilled.
