There does seem to be a "we had to suffer through it, so you do too" attitude for ALL graduate school, and seminary is no exception.
The difference, of course, is that the church should have a better way. I'm not a free church, no school necessary kind of person, but something needs to be changed. Praying for you and other friends in similar situations. Peace.

You make a lot of sense and this is not the first time I have heard this said, but it is the system we live in and it will take folks like to change it. So go for it and I am behind you all the way doing what ever I can to support your position. brosteve
