Greece is due to grind to a halt today as three quarters of a million civil servants stage a 24 hour strike in protest at the governments austerity programme.
Flights in and out of the country have been cancelled because air traffic controllers are joining the protest.
As our Athens correspondent Malcolm Brabant reports, this a test of who governs the streets of Greece.
