Ce n´est pas une vraie voix d´alto : trop d´appui dans les graves , la vraie voix d´alto garde un timbre noble et homogene et n´alourdit pas le registre mixte ou alors, tres peu .
De plus, elle en fait beaucoup trop avec ses gestes de la tête .
Je préfere inconstestablement la version de Valentini Terrani dont le timbre est plus proche de
l´alto et le tempérament plus discret .

A true contralto: I listened only a female lower voice CLARA BUTT.

What a range she has, aside from being the only true contralto left. She can really DO anything with this glorious instrument.

She is actually the classical definition of a contralto, which is the lowest female voice part, but classically carried connotations of wide range and beautiful, deep, rich color as well. My voice teacher recommended I listen to her to get inspiration for my own sound :)
