He could even jump right away and cross over if he wanted, I doubt anyone could shake out if the jump in came after JUST the recovery of the denjin.

It's called 100 PERCENT STUN, not 100 percent damage.
Just get the overall point of the video. The combo allows for a full stun, after that you can think of something on your own, but with the options that Ryu has, it's going to do alot of damage if you do it right.
