Professional athletes dope. They do it not just to get an advantage, but to level the playing field. I wish they didnt, but they do and they will keep doing it. If you took dope out of the equation (for everyone) Floyd would still have won the TDF.

I was on the Col de Joux Plan on the day that Floyd rode over the col minutes ahead of the field, proudly waving my Stars and stripes. To know now that he cheated and lied about it all these years, taking money from supporters for his defence fund is just disgusting.
Only when his career was clearly over did he have a change of heart, if Radioshack had given him a slot for the Tour de Cali he would have kept quiet.
He is a disgrace, to cycling, to the USA, To his team, to his parents.

I always felt the case against Floyd Landis was a little fishy, especially since the AFLD was the same lab that constantly cast a cloud of suspicion over Lance Armstrong yet never was able to prove anything. Pretty fishy behavior for a supposedly "scientific" lab. I for one would love to see Floyd come back to the Tour de France. I still consider him to be one of America's greatest cyclists!
