Stationary sound clip and quick ride on 2004 KLR650 with new DG O-series slip on exhaust silencer. Other mods include KLX carb needle (this setup runs great!), Scotts stabilizer, KTM front brake line, Progressive fork springs, ATF fork oil, 1" rear raising links and worn out Kenda K761 tires that are pretty squirrely off road!

  • Glad somebody finaly rode and opened it up with the dg pipe deff gonna get one not much louder but looks nicer and half weight of stock boat anchor

  • @alandant1 Contrary to what a lot of people say, a decent aftermarket pipe jetted correctly (KLX needle) definitely gives this bike more power. It is quite a bit louder though so I since added the DG quiet core insert which helps.

  • Stock jetting worked great for my elevation. The KLX needle kit comes with easy instructions for setup.

  • Im curious as to where your tire pressure was at for the k761 to do that kind of riding? I just put a set on my 06 xr 650L and they seemed squerly in the dirt even new.Could just be me since in new to this type of riding.

  • @fisherman012704 Not too low...about 25lbs maybe. That trail is all rock and hard pack (quads got rid of anything resembling loose dirt or loam) so it holds good enough as long as you keep momentum.

  • Nice! I'm considering this exhaust as well. I know the video doesn't really do it justice ( focused too much on the riding) but is this thing much louder than stock?

  • @jvinionvideos Idle and cruising is not bad but under throttle this pipe really barks. Hope it passes tech for dualsports.

  • Nice

not your first time;) good riding very technical

  • I just put my LEXX on,and If not for a 10 dollar difference I would of got the DG,But Im in no way sad with the LEXX pipe either,The fit and finish on the LEXX is first rate top shelf quality,Its as nice and in some cases nicer than systems costing way more, the finish quality is as good as a full Ti Yoshimura exhaust,Its that dam good.

  • @dsrider185 Hey,I agree with you, every bike that I put an aftermarket pipe on,and set the right jetting, ran better.

  • I just put mine on yesterday and I love it . it sounds great and was really easy to install

  • Thats a dam cool trail,Id like to ride it.

  • Just put my dg pipe on best buy on ebay quality weight and performance and best price 149 shipped- saves at least 6lbs adjusted airscrew out and l airbox mod and bike is a totally different bike when you open it up on street and trails anyone that says you cant notice much difference hasnt been riding that long

  • This movie really inspired me to buy this bike. I already have it.
