Circuit City - 1st Day of Liquidation

It's the first day of liquidation @ Circuit City. I didn't have work today, but I want to be there to see how many customers actually would come in. It started off slow, but eventually they started to come in.

In this video, I have interviewed a couple of my co-workers & see what they thought & feel about Circuit City being liquidated. Some were sad & maybe just one was happy that it was closing its door.

Wow, I'm kind of surprised that mostly everyone is wearing a uniform. The one I was at like 90% of us wasn't wearing it, including me. The only music we had playing was coming from T.V. department's home theater. Did you store closed yet? We did Since 3/8. Best of luck.

Our store didnt find out about liquidation until we got a call from a customer who was asking how the liquidation was going to effect their rebates. We were all like WTF? Fuck CC the assholes who drove it into the ground and Phil Screwover in particular i hope he rots in hell. I work at a better company now though so whatever.

I worked at CC 3127 Gurnee and this first day video makes me feel like last day of CC. I didnt realize how much i loved hanging with the people i worked with until after it was all over. I still stay in touch with some of them and 2 of the guys i worked with are brothers and are now in a band that is quite amazing check them out on youtube Dangerous Liaisons in Grayslake.
