@unmannedspaceflight I really wish you would make one with something to reference. I understand your telling us the terrain model size but for most of us that doesn't help to envision it very well. Either way, thanks for the hard work and time put into these models. They are pretty bad ass!! I remember when the Rovers first landed and started exploring. I was 16 and I watched the NASA channel for about 3 months straight. Very interesting stuff.

Only way to do that is to artificially add something in, which I don't really want to do. These terrain models are usually 4-5km across, and 10-20km long. You're looking at a reasonable large city size area of Mars.

It is :) The data just isn't published yet. Once it is - I'll hopefully get a chance to do the same thing.

I did one for where the Spirit rover is, and put the rover in for context - but we've not explored these places with rovers or landers yet. For scale, these chunks of terrain are about 4km across, and 8 to 12km long.
