One of the best live tracks you will ever hear from a complete band
-

the foos dont get as much credit as they deserve i believe. They have reached the status of a very influential band they are being passed by. Dave is a genius when it comes to writing music they deserve more credit than how they are now
-
@acdczeppelin4 dont forget red hot chili peppers.
-
the foo fighters are fucking amazing, only one band could play all of their songs acoustic like this and still put on an amazing show and that's the FOO FIGHTERS
-
Dave Grohl and Eddie Vedder are single handedly keeping rock and roll alive
-
A beautiful song. They are such talented musicians and play such a wide range of music. Top three bands of modern rock: Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, and Them Crooked Vultures. Josh Homme and Dave Grohl are the best modern rockers out there today in my opinion.
-
@BBCater All of the bands (QOTSA, TCV, Foos) that I believe are saving rock today are related to Dave in some way (+ Wolfmother XD). I have no problem saying Dave is easily my favorite musician. Hands down.
-
@BBCater that is so perfectly said its untrue. bravo my man.
-
Just so love the "Skin and Bones" version. Daves voice just sends shivers down my spine. WOW.
-
"who is even trying today?"
well said.
-
I agree with you. I saw the DVD the other day, and knew I heard this song before, but was never touched like I was by this live version.
Also agree this is their most underrated song.
-
@TheArneDude I just noticed that and you're right, LOL!
-
I love the foo's so much. They can be a pretty harcore rock band when they want, and they can be a totally chillout band with songs like this one. THey musicanery (sorry for ba spelling) are so great that they can do whatever they want to
-
Probably the most underrated song by them.
-
foo!! mamalona
-
Maybe a little :)
-
I mean they have similar voices when they talk.
If you are looking for music that is meaningful and inspirational - regardless of your taste - you can't beat this band. It's a bold claim, but I put them up there with the best ever. Dave Grohl is a genius, and has assembled a band that has so much chemistry that they are simply in a class by themselves. Who can do this? Who is even trying today?

I like how they did the "Another heart is cracked in two, but I'm on your back" part. Much more dramatic. Another vote for best version! Hell, Skin and Bones has to be my favorite performance of all time from them =D
