First we see an Acela Express with a friendly engineer give me two honks crossing over a quiet zone and then catch another Acela rolling through. Although a quiet zone, it is just a minute rail time from the crossings that I go to in southeastern CT, giving an opportunity for some excellent doppler effect.

  • Exactly!! It's their own damn faults for living next to a railroad, so either deal with the horn, or get the hell out!

  • horns are for safety perposes lets say one of their dumbass kids is playin on the track crossing and doesnt hear the train but the driver whistles and the kid gets off thats why their there to warn people

  • @GalacticTempest I am a railway fan and I would not mind it.

  • @AliceInChains243 i totally agree.

  • yeah your right the bell take care of all that

  • Quiet zones are okay if you have a quad crossing like this spot. Quiet zones are dangerous where you have just single gates where stupid people try to beat the train.

  • Thank GOD that doesnt have a wayside horn,

  • Please put that grade xing out of it's misery.

  • quiet zone? i bet those tracks were there long before people lived near them, what da fuck!

  • @AmtrakFanNEC927 tell me about it i live in ct and i love the horns... i hate rich peeps they spoil everything for us train fans

  • Dosen't having this grade level crossing mean that the train can't max out here?
