I all ways wrap around once and tuck the rest in the boot nothing wrong with that as long as the laces are very tight..

I go 2.5 sizes down, barefoot, maybe 2 sizes with socks :-) Leaving that top eyelet undone is awesome too... I have a bit more confidence doing it knowing that an ex-pro does it too. There are some weird ass instructions on how to lace ur skates on the internet (supertight around ankles, loose around forefoot?!) and this video is mostly what I do and it makes me feel a bit better. I used to go top eyelet + loose, but super-tight + no top eyelet really feels a lot better.

Minus 2 sizes? No way. I go one size down. 2 sizes down would smash my toes.
