Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped - Hog Ride in 0:33.48

Another of my favourite levels to speed run, and definitely my favourite of the motorbike levels. Sapphire and Gold are again fairly easy to obtain, but the Platinum requires you to hold a wheelie from the first zip pad all the way to the big ramp at the end WHILST nabbing all of the time boxes as well. Extremely tricky, but very do-able as well.

Crash's Harley suffers from extreme understeer while in wheelie mode (that said, how the hell can it steer with the front wheel off the ground anyway?!), so you need to steer very early into the corners and avoid the hot rods and small ramps at all costs. Don't forget as well that you only need to clip the time crates to get the bonus, and, as you can see near the end of my run, you can often get away with scraping the sides of the police cars providing that you steer back towards the road quickly. Any time of under 34 seconds on this level is excellent work! :-)

how did you started that fast?

Keep tapping the X button when the starting lights appear, then hold X down JUST before the green light. The control pad should vibrate a lot and you'll see lots of black and white smoke coming out of the bike's exhaust if you're doing it right.

It may take a couple of attempts to get the timing right. Have fun! :-)

Good job. You'v done it well! I had tried to beat developer time, which is 0:33:96, before I got 0:33:93 with NTSC-U. It took me 3 weeks. This is a truly sick level..;;;

I get a turbo start by holding the X button after the 2nd light glows, so that might also work.

Nice vid, I once managed to do that and get the relic but I keep screwing it up now :P
