1)Right click any song
2)customize the length of the song
3)right click again(then click create AAC version)
4)right click(30 sec. version)click show in windows
explorer
5)rename file from .m4a to .m4r
6)double click file
7)then will show up in ringtones

  • what if file name doesn't have m4a in it? LOL

  • on itunes go to edit in the top left and corner and the click preferences click import settings and change it to AAC Encoder

  • dude - you are the man. This is by far the easiest way to make ringtones that I have seen on youtube so far.

    The only issue I ran into is that I had to go to 'file', then 'add file to library', then search for the ringtone otherwise it wouldn't see the file for some reason when I would try to sync.

  • um i double click and it doesnt appear in ringtones
