Slideshow 2008

My second attempt at uploading this huge file. Please enjoy!!

Looks like it was successful. Well, this is a slideshow I made around New Year's but I had some technical issues uploading. Some of the photos and other images got glitchy and the audio got desychronized in the first upload. But this new upload was worth it.

Note that some earlier pictures are also unedited, such as the blue picture of my eye and the picture of the woman singing to the Christmas tree. The image of golden light pouring down the stairs at night is also unedited, and several others like the pictures of the trees with pink flowers. Some of the pictures I took on the road with wacky lighting effects due to shutter speed weren't even intentional - I was doing all I could to experiment with the camera and be spontaneous. I used a HP digital camera, and often changed the shutter speed from 100 to 200, 400, or automatic. I kept the flash off for the most part, as it drains the color out of most of my photos, and color, as you can probably tell, is the life of many of my photos and images.

The 3d image of the man and woman holding hands and staring dismally at a meteor flying towards them was created in iClone 3. I am sure that iClone 3 users will agree that the battleground and clothing templates should be acknowledged here. I enjoyed making use of the particle system called rocket to creat the meteor, and the meteor's tail is effectively a gradient that sweeps between two different colors, although this is difficult for the eye to detect. (I have no problems setting up the emitter but I cannot seem to teach myself as of yet how to make the meteor actually fall instead of just floating there! lol.)
