God of war 2 - Glitch control at elevator

An attempt to IJ up the lift, trigger the eye to move Colossus and then jump down the lift hole, and then pull the lift back up to see how the game would react was thwarted by Glitch control measures by developers.

Namely, once you trigger the eye, the lift automatically appears up the top and foiled my attempt.
Note: The instant you hear the eye get hit, notice at the bottom of the screen you see the 4 corners of the lift appear.

Yeah, since most of the good stuffs been discovered, Ive been racking my brain to come up with original stuff, often I'll find something and go, "wow thats cool", only to find out it was done a year ago.

Ive started using your FAQ as a reference to avoid repeating anything, or trying to do a vid of something mentioned in it but with no link yet.
