Actually the steel player is none other than Larry "Wimpy" Sasser that is the Staff Steel Player for Nashville Now show hosted by Ralph Emory.
Hal Rugg and Dickie Overbey are certainly 2 of my favorite players.....but it ain't them.

@picker61 That's not Dickie, its Weldon Myrick. If you'd like to hear some current Dickie Overby stuff, give a listen to Amber Digby's recordings. He's her steeler (and step-dad), and still great.

You know you're hearing something very special if Barbara Fairchild is one of the backup singers and Sharon White accompanies on vocals and rhythm guitar. Connie was wonderful in the '60's, even better when this clip was done, and still better today. May she go on forever, or at least as long as I'm around to listen.
