hi and salaams :)
SORRY for rambling slightly! its been a busy day and i was slightly distracted by my cat looking like he was about to attack me! the awful lighting will soon be fixed i PROMISE. it annoys me as much as it does you :)
this was both requested and planned, so i hope it answers any questions, and helps anyone wondering about hijab themselves.

I've been Muslim almost a year and a half and have never had a good analogy to how hijab feels, but the "blankie" thing is PERFECT. That's EXACTLY how it feels. Great video. :-)

dressing modestly is definitely a part of Christian beliefs as much as Muslim, but the thing that is seen as distinctly Muslim about wearing the hijab is usually the covering of the hair. you talk about why you chose to dress modestly, but not about why you chose specifically to cover your hair. i'd love to hear your thoughts on that . . thanks!

@towmato to show that i am actively dressing modestly, and womens hair is even used as a measure of beauty, i want to keep everything that could make me attractive for my fiance, and i believe that it pleases God to see a woman cover the gifts that he has bestowed upon her, to give to her husband.

it makes me feel more comfortable with myself too :) i'm going to make an updated version of this video soon, and i'll explain better.

I just find you so inspirational, I genuinely cannot describe it. I find it so beautiful how even non-muslims can see the beauty in covering and being modest. May God bless you, you are an inspiration to muslims and non musllims alike :)

Hi. Im a muslim and I dont find it offensive at all. And the thing is, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all used to (and still do) cover their hair. Its like.. wierd how people react to muslims being covered as in "oprression to women" and yet when other religions do it , it aint as bad. And i think Its because the Hijab looks different. Noone would call Nuns covering their hair oppression or when Jewish women wear wigs/cover hair opression. If you cover your hair youre in peace w/ yourself

hey, I'm cristian too and I also like to wear hijabs even it's "muslim's sign of religion" but as u said if u care who u are and what value u represent why not to cover sexual part of ur body. Cristians women covered thair head in old ages for give respect to God. Warm greetings from Poland to u and ur family!

@laila1273 um...no? i'm not going to enter into conversation as to why your comment is wrong on multiple levels, but maybe you should be looking at your own flaws and imperfections, before you criticize other people,

one thing i will say: piercings don't affect anyone but the wearer: criticism and personal comments affect everyone their thrown at. just a thought. God Bless. xx

@Fieryperidot this channel is for muslims and christians alike, its not for people to try to covert or criticize each other. i believe that we all worship the same God but in different ways. if you don't agree thats fine, but please keep comments to a none judgmental or converting nature please.
