A song in open Dmaj7 tuning.

A song i came up with in the open Dmaj7 tuning, thats DADF#AC#.

I beleive i usually refered to it as titled "the scarlet rooster" when i first began figuring it out and playing it for people.

I'm going to upload a second take with less mistakes as soon as i can. i haven't played this song all the way through in a while. I performed this peice 3 years ago at the Minnesota state fair, through 4-H. I got a blue ribbon, but that equates to like a B+. Im definately proud of that accomplishment though, there were alot of amazing acts.

The following year i performed Michael Hedges' ''javaman" and went to state, but that is a hard song and i missed some of the judging. But i'm definately going to upload a video of me attempting that beast of a song after a little practicing. Other people who have posted covers of that song have been so much help. Thank you everyone here advancing the cause of music and learning.

@Trogdorwillrise : my fav too, try CGCGBE the Cmaj7 tuning, or CGCGA#D is also fun. also DAEGCD the javaman tuning is interesting, try it down two half steps CGDFA#C so the strings dont break. any DAE*** tuning is fun.

@n1ckjitsu nice; Cmaj7 works well on my 8string since the two low strings are B and E. Can you tab out the song in this video? I'd love to learn to play it.
