you should do mono bug types or grass, cause those are much more challenging

And the first gen too. The reason that they were changed is that they forced females and shinies to have low IVs.

Of course not! In fact, shiny Pokemon used to have bad IVs in the 2nd gen, but they fixed this in 3rd gen with personality value.
