  • I thought Gene claimed not to drink. Plus he said he was NEVER drunk.

Here he is singing about drinking. Strange.

  • Ace wrote that song, and damn did he drank... thus Ace dind't want to sing it or couldn't because of his voice or singing skills, so gene offered to sing it.

  • where can you get his on dvd fellas

  • ya know... i love classic kiss... but this song is really pretty boring hahaha.

it's insane how much energy Paul has in this!

it's crazy to think of them touring so early on that they didn't even have 'rock n roll all night' in there set! hahaha.

  • @ministercreek Think THAT'S strange? If my memory serves me correctly, during KISS's 1996 Reunion Tour, Ace said, "When we do 'Cold Gin,' I'd always get nervous. Why? I'm, STILL, trying to CONTROL my drinking. THAT 'urge' (to drink) is in me-somewhere."

  • Great song. But if you just listen to what Peter is doing in this and other early songs you realize how much he contributed to the music. He changes the time signature and plays melodic and quite busy fills that are part of the arangement of the song. Really just like a Bill Bruford or Phil Collins would do in the more complicated prog rock. He is totally a musical drummer. Awesome.

  • Kiss at their best, when they were raw and hungry. Gene in those days was scarier and more menacing than anything out now!

  • Anyway, Ace sings it nowadays I saw him in for 1 month ago (Dec 2009) and he sings it well!!

  • keep 'em coming!!! from this cheap ass $5 worth of props concert.. they went on to become one of the biggest and the best!!!
