4000 watt power inverter

This is a power inverter hooked to 3 deep cycle marine batteries , charged by outside solar panels . It can run none stop supplying power for lights tools, etc. It has a max of 4000 watts .

@zzohaibmalik sir im not sure about the 220volt inverters i only use 120volt . You will probably need a little more than 2000 watts because the air conditioner need more power on start up i would estimate about 3000 watts . thanks for watching video!

@frisc45 thanks for watching my video . umm i dont know anything about using lithium batteries , but to answer the questions i have 3 14.3 voltage regulators to control charging . i do have all batteries in parallel , and yes all the panels have blocking diodes . so far i have no heating issues with batteries .the box is well vented. thanks for watching hope my answer helps .

@DeMenaCe3 thanks for viewing my video . The reason i choose deep cycle marine batteries is based on cranking amps and reserve amps you get more for your money with the marine deep cycle . How ever its possible to get a deal on regular deep cycle batteries too . Depends on how much time you want to spend researching . Thanks again for viewing my video . Hope this helped !

I must question the way in which the batteries are connected in parallel. Heavier cable should be used, than what is being used, and the charge "in" and the load "out" should be taken from the negative (at one end of the battery string) and the positive (at the other end) of the battery string. This "balances" the 3 batteries better. Seeing the lights dimming as much as they do when the grinder kicks in, indicates the possibility of either/or too much voltage drop occurring or cheap inverter.

kjpaint8 i agree i need to tidy up lol but the wires going from battery to inverter are large enough the smaller wires in video are coming from the solar panel and they connected to a regulator that only let 14.3 volts at 7amps to travel from panels to battery . thanks for comment .

@zzohaibmalik Depends on your air conditioning unit but basically the answer is MAYBE.

If you have a small window mounted unit, 500 watt type deal, the inverter should be able to start the compressor with 2000 watts. But the compressor might not like the modified square wave, not a true sine wave, these kind of inverters puts out. It might run just fine but most electric motors which you have in the compressor prefers a sign wave to operate properly.
