"LIke I've Never Been Gone" is another one of those lost gems that could've / should've been a Top 10 hit.
Perhaps Arista was too busy making Barry Manilow hit records instead making Fran McKendree a priority at U.S. radio.
"Like I"ve Never Been Gone" managed to become a mid-charter in Canada - the fact that the song qualified as Canadian Content may have very well helped with it's added exposure in Canada.
