Prop 8 should have never even been considered.
How cruel to take it away, let alone deny American citizens their equal rights. And a commercial I saw for "Yes" was so stupid... They said you don't have to be homophobic to vote "yes". What? And all the reasons they gave were hypocritical and stating they obviously didn't think we should all be treated the same. What B.S. Even though it passed, I hope it will be fought against and be over-turned. Marriage is about love, not gender.

i think ONLY the people who will be AFFECTED by PROP 8 should be ALLOWED to vote for it, the gay couples themselves for example. the straight people have no business choosing what gay people decide to do with their lives... SHEE-EEH-EESH
