The C3 Picasso in 2010 should benefit from the Stop & Start option. It is an evolution of the system already offered as an option on the classic C3. The engine turns off automatically when stopped (at a stop sign or red light), then turns back at the slightest pressure on the accelerator (there is a second battery to make all those starts). The evolution from the previous version is to recover energy when braking to recharge the extra battery. This further reduces fuel consumption.
