Compiz And xwinrap- Windows 7 Can't compare

Can your fancy new Windows 7 laptop do this?

This is Compiz running on Ubuntu 8.10 with xwinrap playing an HD .wmv video of a fishtank. (720P)

The computer is a Dell Inspiron 9300 with a Pentium M 2.0Ghz processor, 2GB of 533Mhz DDR2 ram, and a GeForce GO 6800 graphics card. The machine is 4.5 years old.

As you can see, my computer is having some difficulty playing the video, compositing the desktop and recording it all at the same time. But for the hardware, this is pretty damn impressive. With even the most basic dual-core machine and a slightly more modern video card, this should be very smooth.

nice i have the same graphics card in my dell xps and who says the newest stuff is the best? some of the old stuff is way better than some of the new stuff today
