NV Energy is breaking its promise to Sylvester Kelley and 600 other retirees by slashing healthcare benefits when they need it most. NV Energy is telling retirees that these cuts are necessary -- even after reporting $180 million in profits last year, collecting $134 million in federal bailout cash and paying their CEO Michael Yackira over $4.5 million in compensation.

He worked for 40 years, DAMN I wish I could work for one company that long with a steady check. If he didn't blow all his money, he EASILY could have saved up at least a million or two in that time. I don't really feel sorry for him, you can't expect OTHERS to take care of you or take their word for it. There is only one person to take care of yourself and your retirement and thats you.
