Lonny Chapman (October 1, 1920 -- October 12, 2007) was an American television actor best known for his numerous guest star appearances on detective dramas, including Quincy, M.E., The A-Team, Murder, She Wrote, Matlock, and NYPD Blue. He also appeared as a guest star on the CBS adventure/drama Harbourmaster, starring Barry Sullivan, and on the same network's anthology series The Lloyd Bridges Show. He guest starred too in several episodes of NBC's McCloud, which starred his long-time friend Dennis Weaver, whom Chapman had originally urged to go into show business. He also appeared in at least one episode of Gunsmoke opposite Dennis Weaver. In 1966, he appeared in the episode "Lone Woman" of Barry Sullivan's NBC western series, The Road West. In 1977, Chapman appeared in the episode "The Waterhole" of the short-lived Rod Taylor western series The Oregon Trail on NBC.
Zohra Lampert (born 13 May 1937) is an American actress, who has had roles on film, television and stage. She may be best remembered for her role as the title character in the 1971 cult horror film Let's Scare Jessica to Death, as well as starring alongside Natalie Wood and Warren Beatty in the 1961 romance film Splendor in the Grass.
After working on minor stages for several years, she performed on Broadway in a Tony nominated performance in 1961's Look We've Come Through. She scored with a pair of small but noteworthy performances in the films Pay or Die and Splendor in the Grass.
Throughout the 1960s and 1970s she was active in supporting roles in film and television, and won an Emmy for her performance as a sinister gypsy on an episode of Kojak (1975). She co-starred with Gena Rowlands in John Cassavetes' Opening Night in (1978).
She was a regular in the sitcom The Girl With Something Extra and the medical drama Doctors' Hospital. During the early 1970s, she created the role of Ellie Jardin on the CBS soap, Where the Heart Is, until her character was killed off in 1972.
In 1986, she appeared in Knight Rider: season 4, Hills of Fire.
Lampert worked less during the 1980s and 1990s. She appeared in roles as diverse as The Exorcist III (playing late actor George C. Scott's wife), and the offbeat 1999 film, The Eden Myth, her last feature film role.
During the '80s, Lampert became known as the commercial spokesperson for "Goya" food products.
Paula Trueman (born April 25, 1897, 1900, or 1907, died March 3, 1994) was an American film, television, and theater actress.
The daughter of Joseph and Eva Cohn Trueman, she was born and raised in New York City, and educated at Hunter College, before gaining admission to the Neighborhood Playhouse to study dancing.
Her stage career began with The Grand Street Follies revues in 1924, and at the end of that year she made her dramatic debut in The Little Clay Tart. She was also in the 1930 revue Sweet and Low opposite Fannie Brice, George Jessel, and James Barton, and appeared in Kiss and Tell, For Love or Money and Wake Up, Darling in the 1940s and 1950s.
Her film debut in 1934's Crime Without Passion starring Claude Raines did not lead to a significant Hollywood career at the time, but she enjoyed an Indian summer after playing Mrs. Fenty in Paint Your Wagon opposite Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood in 1969. The latter also cast her in a brief but scene-stealing role as Grandma Sarah in The Outlaw Josey Wales, and for the next decade she could be seen in a number of significant films of the era, including Annie Hall and Zelig by Woody Allen, Dirty Dancing, and an uncredited role in Moonstruck, her final feature film. In 1978, she played Maggie Flannigan in "All My Children" and was involved in a story line with Estelle LaTour (Kathleen Dezina) and Billy Clyde Tuggle (Matthew Cowles.)
She died of natural causes in New York Hospital in 1994, leaving behind a stepson, Michael Sterner, by her husband Harold, an architect whom she married in 1936.
