Learn one lesson. Stay away from FLOURIDE that has nothing to do with teeth but just dumbs you down so that these criminals can controll us. Do not vote for major parties, they are all the same. Go for anyone but them and make sure they will not give their votes away.

Yeah I've seen that myself in some communitys I've lived in. What tends to happen is that people drag in old ideas from outside, if they've lived in society all their life. Good communitys will keep this in check, but laziness tends to occur sooner or later and laziness leaves a vaccum where manipulation and power games can creep back in again. A good community must be one that is not only interested in a physical oasis, but in dissolving the cunning of human egoity.

Agreed,bc5620. Like you,I feel the solution is to get out, literally. If I had several hundred thousand pounds to buy citizenship of another country, I'd be out of here within a week. In the absence of that,we're prisoners amongst millions who simply don't value liberty anymore. The solution=opting out. But while on this island,the system covers every inch of the UK. I've resided for many months outside of the system,in other countrys. But as I'm not a citizen,it can only be temporary respite.

As an experiment, if you put few people on an island with the mentality of freedom...eventually it will evolve to the same outcome..greed and power etc...that is what I meant by it's a problem of being "human"

And I agree that with age comes transparency. What follows for the most part though in many people, seems to be a resignation that "well that's the way it is" and "yeah it's wrong, but what can you do about it?" (followed by a shrug) even when they know certain taxes are fundamentally wrong for example and don't go towards what we're told they go towards. After a certain age, I believe most people just want a quiet life (fully understandable) and give in.

agreed totally, but I guess what I was saying is if we want to live in the lifestyle (society) we are all slaves. Freedom is our choice yes...but you have to unplug yourself from the matrix and not many are willing to do that.
