Hi, I just put W7 on the Optiplex 280.
I got the pc for free, since it is so old (pentium 4 3ghz and 1 Gb pc3200 ram).
It runs surprisingly well.. Not sure what to do with this pc though :-P
since it's the SFF edition, the PSU is quite limited.. also the gfx card is not very good, some intel passive card..

32 but I've been having 7 for a little while now. I just need the Keys MSFT will be providing today. Stay tuned guys on Windows 7 Website. Peace!
