The album is RIAA gold certified and produced five singles, including "Don't Tell Me What to Do" and "Maybe It Was Memphis".
"Maybe It Was Memphis" was written by Michael Anderson and released on Arista Nashville Records. The single peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and #4 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks. "Maybe It Was Memphis" was a CMA (Country Music Association) Song of the Year award nominee in 1992.
The music video for "Maybe It Was Memphis" was directed by D.J. Webster.
