Hey J- I did a DIY steadi, I think your footage is smoother than mine. I didn't show how it was made, but did leave a link to the dude that hooked me up with instructions.I dig that you show the steps in yours.
Hey Im using a cannon 7d as well. What settings are you using to record? Also how do you edit? Im using final cut pro and am not too impressed with the quality of the video. I don't know if its the camera settings or just the codec I use to export

@Austjamlew download Mpegstreamclip its a free encoder. my settings are on apple pro res 422 (HQ) I use final cut pro also. my settings are Neutral sharpness 0 Contrast 2nd notch left from middle Saturation 1 notch left from middle and color tone 0. Yeah if you don't encode the files it won't play back in FCP properly. Let me know how it goes.

@stanlymanly2 Its just the kit Lens.(EF 28-135mm) Can do some really good stuff with just the basics.
