  • You didn't answer my question about Lids. When I say Rich is ready-made, I mean he was ready to play AFL, not unable to improve. Murphy was a ready-made AFL player.

    So if Watts will be better it won't be until he is 30? LOL

    Mate, KPF don't take THAT long. Now you obviously don't really know what you're talking about. Watts is still in school and it has been said several times that he won't be spending too much time in the AFL. And FYI, he has played 3 games, not that I expect you to know V_V

  • that perhaps the Dees should play Watts a little more. Rich has played what, 16 games this season to Watts' 1. Maybe this could be an indication of Watts being a player that needs time to develop. Most draftees play 3-5 games in their first season, with those that are ready playing many of the home matches, although we saw Rich in almost every Brisbane match. Rich is an outstanding player and we can't see into the future, so for now, he is the better of the two.

  • Which means that Rich is the superior player. Also, Rich isn't quite ready-made. He still has a lot to develop, just like any other player that is in their debut season, but even if Watts does develop to beome better than Rich, it will be when both of them are 30-35, in which case they might have retired anyway. I'm not being ignorant, I'm just saying that if Watts is ever to become a better player, it will be later on in his career, when he and Rich are close to retirement. I do think however,
