For of you folks complaining about the new arrangement do you realize that we have nearly no USC specific songs at all. Look at schools like Tennessee, Auburn, Bama, or even Clemson and they have many songs they play with tons of fan participation. It is time USC stepped it up to those levels and this is exactly what the band is doing. So be appreciative of their hard work and enjoy what will come.

I think it sounds great! Pretty typical for some Gamecock fans to complain though. Heck, they complain about everything else, why stop now! Awesome job to the Carolina band, keep up the great work. This is one fan who knows how important the band is to the overall gameday atmosphere, believe me it makes a difference.

The band is much better this year. More brass equals more sound. The new arrangements are great. We just need a song that the fans can participate in from start to finish, instead of just clapping and yelling "Go Cocks".

I AGREE...when you watch other SEC games their Bands are part of the GAME. It is a full production to market the GAME...the Experience. Go Mighty Sound of the South!

I am so proud of our band. This is the best band I have seen USC have since the 1980s.

@theREALUSC i think its just because this is an away game so there arent many south carolina fans... i mean have you ever been to a gamee?(: south carolina fans are craazy(: and im proud to be one of those crazy fanss! <3 do we have a new song that they are playing this year? because at the ECU game they kept playing a song and nobody knew what to chant...

It is not a matter of complaining about the band. I was in the Carolina Band for 4 years. I fully support the band and totally agree that the band adds so much to the Gameday experience. As far as a USC specific song.....this is not a new song....it is a combnation of three already existing USC specific songs.....changing the spell out to the middle....well now we are just like Clemson with their spellout.....I am all for adding NEW USC specific songs. No need to revamp the existing....
