HOBIE said FISH THE WORLD and we did.

(Part 1 - South Carolina Hank Parker, Australia)

We landed and released four-foot Pike in the shadows of castles in France and beneath the windmills of Holland. We laughed a lot and learned about fishing the French Broad and the farm ponds of North Carolina with Bass Fishing Hall of Fame member Hank Parker. In Australia we landed fish we had never heard of like the slate grey Sooty Grunter and fish well never forget like the Barramundi.

Join us as we pedal the Pro Angler and the fleet of Hobie Kayaks on the Oxbows of the Mississippi, the Lower Owens in the Eastern Sierras, the Louisiana bayous, Corsica, and down the west coast of Baja Mexico.

  • We also offer paddle kayaks which are less expensive, but for "Kayak" fishing... the MirageDrive is it! Hand(s) free, no gas required.

  • At what age do you let people join you fishing team?

  • We have at least one young man on the fishing team for Hobie already. Team members are through local dealerships, so make contact with your local Hobie dealer and create a relationship with them. It is all about supporting that local dealership.

  • wanting to get into kayak fishing... hobie is WAY too rich for my blood. Think about it Hobie, at least from the prices i've seen online. If i could afford that much for a kayak, I could scrape up a little more for a little bug buster with a motor.

  • @lolabclol10 no pro angler is....

  • @lolabclol10 thats when fishing for bass

  • what rods do you use? and what size :D i have outback, best yak out!

  • @jonathanmunguia360 I find it easier to fish from a normal paddle kayak (Wilderness systems tarpon 120) in really over grown waters or really heavy logs and branches areas, and use the peddal kayak (Hobie mirage revolution) for the deeper more open obstacle free waters. However on my lake trips I allways bring out my ocean kayak trident 15 just because it handles the swells so much better.

  • is it better to fish from a peddal kayak or is a normal kayak good for fishing

  • ok thank you i will look into that
