You Need some equipment to help you record. Don't spend all your money on just guitars hahaha. For example I use a Vox Tonelab for effects and a Boss RC 50 Loop Station to record on, I have a few pedals too. To mic acoustic's I use a Sure SM 58.
I make a backing track in the Loop Station, then add lead and then upload it all to the pc where I mix it using 'Mixpad' software...... easy and good result. You can hear before and after video's on my channel for yourself to compare. Good Luck.
