It was a very hot Friday afternoon and I had finished work early. I was working that week in Normacott so after I finished I headed off up the A50 to Blythe Bridge where I knew I could sit somewhere in the cool. The Foxfield Railway was my destination. No trains were running, it being a week day, but previously the BBC were filming with two coaches, but not of the railway.
Anyway, these needed to be shunted off from the platform line so that the next days trains could use it. The Bagnall was couppled up to them at the time and so was the nearest available engine to do the job. However things sometimes don't go how you want them to....!
i wonder where the carrages are from hmm tanfield railway lol
