In some cases keloids can lower a persons self esteem, but we know they are dirt, and cortisone is able to melt the dirt piles down. I've seen other women keloids, some of them are prettier than me! they like myself have always had a normal life. When doctors call them "hyphertrophic" I think oh my God they're endangering my life!LOL but in reality it is my own skin problem. I met a white women who had scar tissue, she thinks they are the same as keloids.

Hello Beautiful! Please don't feel that you are less of a girl if you have issues with earings and keyloids. You are normal, you just have abnormal growths. Many girls do not have to deal with that issue, but you do. They may have other issues though that may cause them not to be able to do certain things, but for your health's sake, I would not do it the old fashion way. I would use clip-ons or stick-ons! However, if you pray and trust God... then pray and follow your heart! God bless U and Urs
