This is a full-length video. It was produced as an assignment for a video class I took in college. It was only the second music video I ever made. All of the aviation shots were filmed at Sun 'n' Fun fly-in in Lakeland Florida in 2006.

The song, of course, is Bachman Turner Overdrive's "Takin' Care of Business."

  • you should put "cover" in the title

  • I did, because you're right, I should have.

  • hey, nice vid, your a pretty good drummer, i have been drumming basically my whole life so its nice to see some real talent finally, but if you want to be a really good drummer get an actuall set, its much harderd then thos electric ones, keep rockin!

    Peace :)

  • dude, I played on "actual" drums for 25 years before I got this kit. And while it may be true that electronic drums make it a little easier, why would I WANT to make it harder on myself?

    Thanks for the compliments! :))

  • @drummaboy007 I'm sooooo jealous. Had to give up my years of drumming in clubs to make actual money doing other things. Now the important question... HEY! That electronic kit looks so awesome. Can you play that in an apartment without bugging the downstairs people? :-) And how much did that cost ya? Thx much. Great video. Tell the drum playing haters to get a life. Now you need to do your next video doing the solo in Rod Stewart's version of "I'm Losing You". :-)

  • @larryvgs sorry it took so long to reply. Yeah, you can use these in an apartment. The only way you'll botther the downstairs neighbors is with the bass drum pedal, but if you put some padding or a towel under it, it shouldn't be a problem.

I think I paid around $1200, including the bass drum pedal, the throne and another $200 for a used amplifier at a pawn shop.

  • Hey Man, Cut the guy some slack will ya. Can you do any better? Where's your video?

  • Planes and drums can't beat it. Good video, good skin work. I guess the hostiles don't understand that not all songs are written for drum solos. Great timing, good variety, looked like fun to me , thanks...

  • @GOgrnGO How about you just not watch it instead? I doubt he gives a rats fuzzy ass whether you like his video or not, so again, why don't you just MYOFB and stop giving unwanted and un-asked-for advice?

  • @mickeydougall as a musician it isn't just about having fun, it's about making somthing sound good as well. Sure he can jam to his midi all he wants, have buckets of fun. Just don't post it as a cover and upload it to YouTube.

  • @GOgrnGO That's funny. I don't see a band. I see a solo project played with a MIDI accompaniment and a guy having fun.

Maybe stick to giving criticism a) when it's asked for and b) when you have a valid point.

  • K learn how to keep time without headphones, and though it may be harder normal drums sound a hell of a lot better. I would think that after 25 years you would know that. Waaayy too many fills there. It's a song played by a band bro slow your roll.

  • nice drumming but to many breaks.

Keep it simple man. It's Rock'n Roll

  • Amazing huh, it's just like the song was written, dork..
