Well what more do you want him to be? lol. He can sing brilliantly, dance brilliantly and is an amazing lyric and song writer. There isn't really much more to ask from an artist is there? Jay Kay and Jamiroquai have been going for nearly 20 years now, and there's a reason for that. They make music that will last forever, and long may they continue to do so! :)

The jazz/funk tracks he has had been lucky to vocalise over, will go down in history, but all he is , and was a character with voice

There is no significant evolution of sound! his vocals are tried, tested and have worked. however he hasn't evolved as a vocalist and artist!

You're kidding right? Jamiroquai's music has progressed massively! The point in the rock dust light star album was to go back to the old style, but if you listen to the last album "Dynamite" and compare it to the first album "Emergency on Planet Earth", there is a truly significant change in sound. Just because it doesn't sound like everything else in the charts, and because they have a unique sound, doesn't mean they haven't progressed.
