I was pretty excited when I saw the title, but, anybody who thinks box cutters had anything to do with 911 hasn't seen what the FBI said in the moussaoui case; barbara olson did not call ted, not at all.
To my knowledge, barbara's phone call, proved to be a lie on ted's part, is the only source of any kind of weaponry being applied.
TSA is a weapon of opppressive government.

Yea this guys totally right... In fact, we should just strengthen the Patriot Act and NDAA while we're at it.

@superlucci you still think 'it matters whether or not they fly regularly or can afford to charter every time they fly being forced to endure groping and/or semi nude pictures being taken by a stranger if they can't afford to charter = all in the persons head' rights are rights certain rights were laid out by the bill of rights they are being eroded away to only those that can afford it you are fine with that. whether you call it poor or not, UScitizens live like kings.
-
@whispers83 Its not my fault if when you say poor you mean middle class.
If you mean middle class....then guess what? Say Middle class.
Not my fault you cant say what you mean

"You were saying that poor people have to go through TSA procedures to get on a plane"
people who don't ->CHARTER<- smaller planes have to. except for in certain circumstances.
"And Im saying that everybody except people who own their own planes have to go through that"
WRONG. Can you read? Did you look charter up for yourself?
i meant poor as in lower middle class because i was raised affluently, you inept sycophant prick.

@whispers83 That doesnt change the fact that poor people normally dont fly on planes. Because they are poor!
You were saying that poor people have to go through TSA procedures to get on a plane. And Im saying that everybody except people who own their own planes have to go through that, but poor people wouldnt normally be getting on a plane.
Stop implying that the majority of poor people get on flights.

6.
b. The hiring or leasing of an aircraft, vessel, or other vehicle, especially for the exclusive, temporary use of a group of travelers.
see how stupid you've been?
"Personally I dont see the logic behind hating this."
and you don't see the logic behind disagreeing with it either.
you refuse to.
so much so that you misconstrue a lot of what i typed.
stop implying people below the poverty line can't save up for an annual holiday flight to see family.

@whispers83 Dude, if your poor, you wouldnt be traveling on a plane in the first place.
The bad things you speak of about these choices is all in the persons head. Its subjective from person to person, therefore saying what you say in the sense that both are bad choices isnt right because its subjective.
Your using the word poor to describe people who are not poor. So stop doing it.
When terrorists save up money for a small jet, come back to me. Americans wouldnt be on a terrorist owned jet
I think Franklin was talking about a nanny state personally. I think it's easier for people to sometimes stand up to TSA workers at the airport when they would not otherwise pick on a cop, because in some way they already know there are fewer consequences and the collective opinion is already against them either for being called the archetypical lazy Govt worker or the Nazi take your pick. There IS more there than meets the eye.
