@KittyNightfox You're completely right, but I wasn't able find a better way to avoid trolling and useless bickering under comments. Since in the series there's officially no romantic involvement between the two characters, I also wanted to point out that my take on their relationship is different from the canonical one. And sadly, with all the physical and verbal attacks on non-heterosexuals, it's clear that respect of basic human rights is still very much lacking. :( Love is love, agreed.

@Solanyxe I know and I really wasn't picking on you specifically, really I wasn't. It just drives me up a wall the way people still tip-toe around homosexulity, like there's anything dirty or wrong with it. It may be a different path than the one you (and by "you" I mean anyone reading) but what's wrong with different? Frankly, differences drive the world. Treasure variation, adore individuality and value uniqueness! I love that every person alive is different than every other person alive.

The sad and terrible thing is that they'll never kiss because Merlin is a bbc and syfy "family show" and some people are still homophobic (*sighs impatiently*) so even if the writers write in an episode where Arthur or Merlin get entranced into thinking the other is a) a girl, or b)soul mate and they are blocked to kiss each other, it's never going to happen because the show would get a serious knockdown on ratings and viewers. So as much as the part of me is dying for them to kiss, it can't. :c
