the problem is, Perry is appealing to right wingers, of which there are many (no offence for the assumption, but many southern states). If elected by the Republicans he may garner a strong following, which does worry me, even if I'm not a US citizen. This is reminds me of Anita Bryant and John Briggs, over 30 years ago? we, as a society cannot reverse this progress.

@Calvinios Yes we can. 30 years ago *no* state in the US had marital equality. No nation had it either. Now both of those things are true now. You keep fighting until the bastards put you down.
