@speedemon103 They weren't able to tell me much. My friend was the mechanic who inspected it and rebuilt it...and his opinion is "it's just one of those things" haha. That's not saying much, but it's guess work. It was likely some small imperfection that just got magnified. The bike has over 30,000 miles on it now and I still ride it hard. I'm really daydreaming about the new 2011 ZX10....if only it came in red

Doesn't look like you have a speedo healer on here? Maybe you have one now. I put one on mine last year and it helps a lot. Now I don't have to guess when i pass cops.
