A short explanation, simple and to the point, set to music and with lots of flashy lights for the generations who like that kind of thing. // created at http://animoto.com

  • Ms. Christy is teaching me this!!

  • yeah the music defeated the purpose but good vid :)

  • @shestu

its blocked at my school too but theres a simply proxy to get past that. simply go to hidemy.bis and paste the link into the box

  • music is kinda distracting

  • horrid music..

  • well this clears it up a little bit. for those of you who didnt understand it at first (LIKE I DID) heres how it REALLY works: your math book will say: f(x)=2x+1 find f(10)

f is the function, whatever is on the other side of the "=" tells you what it does to the number. so it would look like this: f(10)=2(10)+1 which equals 21. it's interesting and not well explained by the books and vids on here.

  • uhm..where did the answer came from when it's only f(5) how will it equal to 13 when there's only f(5)?

  • Love this. I just wish YouTube wasn't blocked at the high school where I teach so I could show this to my Algebra I students!
