May 30, 2010 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A man is now charged with murder after the bodies of three african american were found on the Far South Side.
Michael Johnson, 24, of the 100 block of East 120th Place, is being called a serial killer. He is charged with the murder of three women. The police are looking into the possibility that there are more victims linked to the suspect.
Johnson was arrested outside his Roseland home Thursday night after DNA taken from three unsolved murder victims were matched to him.
All three victims were strangled to death. The first case dates back to 2008. The victims' deaths went unnoticed. Police say the women led "high-risk" lifestyles. All of the victims were found in abandoned buildings in the Roseland and West Pullman neighborhoods. They are being identified as 28-year-old Leslie Brown, 38-year-old Eureka Jackson and 30-year-old Siobhan Hampton.
Police say they connected Johnson to the murders after another women accused him of choking her. Because of the location, they decided to take a DNA swab from Johnson, matching his DNA to the victims.
Im black, and yet again another evil monkey causes misery to the families of the victims and tries to bring his own race down with his terrible behaviour. No doubt we'll get "he had a broken home" defence from his lawyers.
