2003 Corolla with Matrix starter

OEM starter broke, didnt like quality of corolla ones so i decided to get one from a matrix, listen to it...

yes the snorkel tube was the silencer thing that make the intake quiet, when i removed it the intake sounded more better

the starter was like $160 without core charge and it took us at least an hour to install since we had to remove some components blocking it

i did the same thing with my '05 S. it sounds sooooo much better lol a few people have actually been impressed lol now only if there were such thing as a muffler that made a 4 cyl sound good :-p

Seams to make quite a bit of ticking noises.... Just loud injectors?

i took that tube out too.. Sounds way better without it... Nice sounding starter by the way!

i did somthing leik that to my gf car. 01 corolla, just opened the intake box the filter is still in place and basicly has an opening pretty much liek a short ram, major sound and responce diffrnce lol sounds nice so stock everything
