What does it mean if it says the required plug -in is not installed.

I've tried using this but it isn't working for me. I've tried putting down a range of 3 sentences to 3 paragraphs but I still can't figure it out. I have a project due Friday and if I can't figure out how to use/if it is messing up I'm not going to be particularly happy.
