It was harassment. On both sides really. PETA with the pie, then a newfoundlander with a pie, people freaking at her for merely standing on the side of the street with a sign not saying a word to anyone. K-Rok (Newfoundland radio station) making prank calls to PETA... I'm proud of being a Newfoundlander, but they are taking it a bit too far... BTW I got e-mails, no I've never eaten seal or killed one lol

I'm a lover of animals. Seal Hunting has been a part of my culture for years upon years, that's why I feel so strongly on it. I just wish that PETA didn't point the finger at us and make false claims about us bashing their brains out and being 'barbarians' and 'savages'. :S We shoot them, lol. Anyway, man. No hard feelings, take care.

@Sheavy722 Ok well then I apologize for the first message I sent you. As for the people who hunt them for food thats not the problem and it seems that we see I to I. For the people who hunt them for nothing more than sport and their fur. That for me is the issue at hand so yet again I apologize it just makes me angry when people kill animals for no reason especially in massive amounts.

@shrakecameron We do eat them for food, we hardly leave the bodies.. Here anyway. Newfoundland is different since we use the seals as an actual resource instead of for fur. We make arthritis, heart, and other medication out of the seals. Sure, I'm all for animal welfare.. But people who leave the bodies are idiots and are wasting a valuable resource. We never let anything to go to waste here. I'm referring to Newfie in general, which is a completely different, resourceful, and a humane hunt.

@Sheavy722 Ok then explain to me why most of the people hunting the seals leave the body's. I mean it doesn't make sense if they are hunting them for food. And explain to me why they are hunting them in Alaska territory . So don't think that for one moment that I'm blind to whats really going on.
