Yes i would no question in my mind. You are paying to have a working machine with no problems and the operating system is the best i have ever used. No frustration at all i love my macbook. They also just updated them so they are macbook pros now with better specs and the price dropped $100 so yes i would recommend this with no doubt in my mind. I will probably never buy a PC again.

Would you recommend really buying the MacBook, even though PC laptops are 300$ cheaper?

You can hear it, but its not really that bad. I have no complaints about it.

good review. is the disc drive noticeably loud when burning/reading cds?
